I have been developing websites and web applications professionally for a little over 10 years. Putting the client's and user's needs first is my top consideration while working on web sites.

My Beginnings

My web development career started during college where I taught myself PHP and volunteered to be the webmaster for my school's video game club. This involved building and maintaining the club's website and message boards. This was my first taste in actual web development where I had a userbase to maintain and make happy while maintaining the server and web code. During that time, I began freelancing as a webmaster for several local businesses when I learned how to balance expectations and manage scope creep.

Current Day

I currently work as a senior web developer for a medium sized company in Indianapolis. I started using Ruby (and Rails) in late 2009 and found myself enjoying writing code in it. Ruby is a very fun language with a great community.
